Pueblo, CO – Pueblo Fire Department, working alongside IAFF Local #3 and Fire Fit Kids, took part in a community event held at Bradford Elementary School in Pueblo, Colorado.
The program brought firefighters and students together as part of a collaborative initiative between the fire department and the City of Pueblo focused on health, fitness, and community engagement for young people.
During the visit on May 18, firefighters spent time with students and staff at Bradford Elementary, participating in activities designed to promote physical fitness and positive interactions with first responders.
Officials involved in the initiative described Fire Fit Kids as a partnership effort aimed at encouraging healthy habits among children while also strengthening relationships between firefighters and the communities they serve.
The event highlighted ongoing cooperation between local public safety agencies and community organizations working to support youth development and wellness in Pueblo.
