Pueblo Mayor Declares Temporary Housing and Shelter Emergency

Pueblo, CO – Pueblo Mayor Heather Graham issued a declaration of temporary housing and shelter emergency for the City of Pueblo, effective from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, through 7:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.

This emergency declaration allows local religious institutions, including churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples, to provide temporary shelter for the homeless.

The action comes in response to predicted moisture and low temperatures throughout this period, as forecasted by the National Weather Service.
