Pueblo, CO – The Pueblo Fire Department in Colorado has announced the addition of a new Rosenbauer 101-foot aerial truck to its emergency response fleet.
According to the department, the new apparatus will enhance firefighting and rescue operations across the city, particularly during structure fires, commercial incidents, and elevated rescue situations.
Officials said the truck is built on a Rosenbauer Commander chassis and includes a Cummins X15 565-horsepower engine, Allison 4000 EVS transmission, and advanced aerial control systems. It is also equipped with upgraded LED warning lights and scene lighting designed to improve visibility and safety during emergency operations.
Fire officials said the new aerial unit provides greater reach and flexibility on large structures and complex incidents while improving overall firefighter safety on the scene.
The department noted that crews will undergo several weeks of training before the truck is officially placed into service.
