Pueblo, CO – The City of Pueblo, Colorado, has unveiled its latest monthly art installation in the Mayor’s Office through a partnership with the Pueblo Arts Alliance.
According to city officials, the newest exhibit features work by artist Amy Ackley Saxe and will be on display through the second week of June.
Officials said Saxe is a multidisciplinary artist with experience in painting, drawing, glass fusion, jewelry making, pottery, digital design, interior design, and mural work. She is currently focused primarily on painting and also teaches art privately.
City representatives said the rotating exhibit program is designed to highlight local artists and provide ongoing opportunities for public exposure to creative work within the community.
The Pueblo Arts Alliance is responsible for selecting and curating the monthly displays. Officials noted that participating artists receive a percentage of artwork sales, while the organization retains a portion to support continued programming and exhibitions.
