Motorcyclist Dies After Crash in Northeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A motorcyclist has died following a collision in northeast Colorado Springs over the weekend, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

The crash occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Peterson Road and Hawk Wind Boulevard, just north of Dublin Boulevard. CSPD said the incident involved a motorcycle and a second vehicle.

First responders arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital. Despite medical efforts, the individual later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities have not released the name of the deceased. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will disclose the identity once next of kin have been notified.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation. CSPD has not yet released details regarding the cause of the accident or whether any citations or charges will be filed.
