According to police reports, the incident occurred when one man distracted a store clerk, while another secretly installed the illegal device.
The first suspect is described as wearing a black Nike hat, and he was seen engaging with the clerk to divert their attention. Meanwhile, the second suspect, who had black hair and was dressed in a black jacket and ripped jeans, is believed to have installed the skimming device. Authorities are concerned that the device could have been used to steal customers’ card information, potentially putting many at risk for fraud.
