Colorado Springs, CO – A shooting on the 2200 block of Sonoma Drive in Colorado Springs has left two individuals injured. The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to the scene at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found one person suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Around the same time, at 8:22 p.m., CSPD’s Gold Hill Division received another call about a separate individual who had been shot and subsequently taken to the hospital. Further investigation revealed that this second victim had also been involved in the incident on Sonoma Drive.
Both victims are expected to survive their injuries, according to CSPD. However, police have not yet released any information regarding the identity of the shooter or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
