Pueblo, CO – On December 28, 2025, Pueblo Police Department officers responded to a report of a suspicious white vehicle in the 1400 block of Spruce Street.
The vehicle was parked on the wrong side of the road, abandoned, and its engine was still running. Witnesses reported seeing two white male suspects in connection with the vehicle.
Later, a black stolen vehicle was reported in the 100 block of W. Routt and was later spotted driving eastbound on Northern Avenue. Officers identified the driver as Solomon Vigil and the passenger, who only provided his name. Vigil was taken into custody without incident.
Both stolen vehicles were located using the department’s License Plate Readers, part of the Real-Time Crime Center. Vigil told officers that four other males gave him the black vehicle before leaving in the recovered white vehicle. Both vehicles showed severe ignition damage, with parts hanging from the steering columns.
Vigil was charged with second-degree motor vehicle theft and two municipal warrants for failure to appear. The Pueblo Police Department noted that details may change as additional evidence is collected and reviewed.
