Pueblo, CO – The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office announced it has canceled a planned Halloween “Trick-or-Treat” event following concerns from members of the community.
Coroner Dr. Greg Grahek stated the event was intended to provide a safe, family-friendly opportunity for children and families to celebrate the holiday, as in past years.
However, feedback indicated that the event was not well received by some residents.
Dr. Grahek apologized for any discomfort or misunderstanding and emphasized the office’s commitment to professionalism, transparency, and community engagement under the new coroner.
