Overheating transmission causes car to catch fire in Mason

 A car is a loss after it caught fire in Mason.

The car caught fire at the corner of South Edgar Road and Bunker Road.

Firefighters say the fire was caused by the car’s transmission overheating.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
