COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A motorcyclist has died following a crash on West Bijou Street near Interstate 25, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday when a motorcycle and a vehicle collided. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and transported three individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment.
While the two others involved in the crash are expected to survive, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries after being admitted to the hospital. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, with the El Paso County Coroner’s Office scheduled to provide more information at a later date.
At this time, investigators have not determined the cause of the collision. CSPD continues to investigate the incident, and further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
