COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A man was cited Tuesday after pouring gasoline on a crosswalk and igniting a fire, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
The incident occurred at the intersection of East Platte Avenue and North Murray Boulevard. Police say the man was issued a citation for illegal burning and subsequently placed on a mental health hold.
No injuries were reported during the event, officials confirmed.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
