Pueblo, Co – The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) is offering support to federal workers affected by layoffs and restructuring through a series of virtual town halls. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and Thursday, March 20, 2025, these sessions aim to provide vital resources and information for navigating the unemployment claim process and reemployment opportunities.
The town halls will be held via Zoom and are designed to guide participants through the steps of filing unemployment claims. CDLE will review the claim filing process, clarify important details for former federal employees, and share a variety of reemployment support services available to all Colorado job seekers. Additionally, the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration (DPA) will present resources for federal workers who are interested in continuing their careers in public service.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Wednesday, March 19, 2025: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Thursday, March 20, 2025: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Those who are unable to attend will have the option to watch the town halls live on YouTube, where CDLE will also answer questions from both Zoom and YouTube participants.
