Pueblo, CO – The City of Pueblo will host a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station 11, 3205 West 24th Street, to discuss the West Side Improvements Project. A brief presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m. The presentation will also be live streamed on the City of Pueblo’s Facebook page.
The project includes the Sun Mountain Boulevard, a new roadway connecting 24th Street and 31st Street with two intersections designed to improve west side connectivity. Public input will help guide final decisions and any required mitigation measures.
The meeting will also cover the West Side Bus Stop Rehabilitation Project, which will create or upgrade about 67 bus stops to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards. The upgrades aim to improve access and safety for all riders, including seniors and people with disabilities. Staff and materials will be available to answer questions.
“These upgrades will boost west side connectivity in the City and support safe, reliable travel options for everyone,” said Andrew Hayes, City of Pueblo Director of Public Works.
